Does anyone know where I can get a 4 wheel laser alignment done in the Preston / Blackpool area?
I know HB Panelcraft can do it but as they are the local OPC approved bodyshop I expect they are at OPC prices too and they charge £245!!
Recommendation are always the best so I would appreciate any advice guys.

Mill Lane Garage in Warton do a good job, they are by the Mill lane entrance to BAE Systems, however I doubt you will have much change from £200.00 I would also try Chris at COFG.co.uk, find out when he next up in the area as a few of us really rate him, he is not cheap either but he is good.

I would rather use a protractor and a piece of string than go near HB.

Pete, HB Panelcraft charged me a sub £200 on the Boxster and mine was way out. The only time it gets expensive is if they can't get the bolts undone, should be no problem with yours.

Thanks Tony.
Dropped it off with HB this morning. Quoted £120 +vat if all goes well.
Fingers crossed.

Thanks Peter
I have used HB many tiems before for bodywork and have found them to be 1st class and have never had a problem with them.
There is always a first time of course, but I hope its not this time!!!

I would rather use a protractor and a piece of string than go near HB. My last two Porsches have been re-aligned by HB and they have been very professional and helpful. Both cars were way out on the rear set up prior to being re-aligned, so with tyres costing around £400 for the rears it really pays to have your car checked.

Just read this today, so hopefully not too late.
Some 20-odd miles further down the M6 of course is Pemberton Tyres, fine place for Porsche + other performance cars, but may too far away?
Am more than happy to recommend them for laser alignment and tyre stuff in general as i've used them for a few years now for the stock '68 Cup 2 17s, and pricing is less than £100 [:)]
Do refurb service too (via Prestige) and supply all the Porsche favourites eg Goodyear, Bridgestone, Michelin, Yokohama etc. http://www.pembertontyres.co.uk/
