Thanks to all members who took the time on a the last Sun before Christmas ( ie. busy time!!) to come along and support the karting arranged by my son Gregs F1 Junior Karting Club. ( this was not a PCGB club activity just word of mouth)
I was surprised and delighted to see so many of you there and I hope the spectators had as much fun as the drivers.
A shameless plug for the F1 club.. The new season starts in Jan , and every Sunday kids from age 8- 16 are welcome to this very exciting activity.
The contact is David Mc Hendrie 0141 642 0488 or pm me for details.
Finaly a big thank you to Ray Boyd for providing me with the most delicious opportunity to practice Playstation type driving on him [;)][;)]

[:)]Mike glad to support your son ,a chip off the old bloke it was a good turnout .your move on Boydy did not go unnoticed ,I bet he has the bruises to prove it .Brian ro 1

Staying with karting a lot of members who returned the questionare asked for this perhaps you could post your interest .it needs a minimum of 25 to work and be cost effective so i,am told brian ro 1

Definately up for some more karting while piggy is in hibernation! How about a team tournament with a weight handicap for each team?
Any suggestions as to how this could work without any Newton Mearns engineers bending the rules? Junior kart champions allowed?[8D]

Min age limit is 12 .so no Greg you will be glad to hear ( unless he was in your team!)
As always these things are a pain to organise because of the numbers and payments etc, BUT if five members commited to guaranteeing five bodies each ( these could be other members) it could be arranged very quickly.
Scotkart are offering discounted rates throughout Jan.
Obviously Boydy would struggle to find 5 friends so perhaps he is not the best choice for the famous five.[:D][:D]

[:)][:)]LOOK,S LIKE YOU HAVE AN EVENT IN THE MAKING I WILL SUPPORT YOU BUT COUNT ME OUT AS A DRIVER MY BACK WOULD NOT TAKE IT .HOW ABOUT OTHER MEMBER,S OUT THERE CAN YOU MAKE UP A TEAM OF 5 INVITE YOUR MATES OR DARE I SUGGEST SOME FEMALES .THEY WOULD HAVE THE WEIGHT ADVANTAGE. BRIAN RO 1
