...a small band of 964RS rebels will come together in a showdown with the feared 993RS machines in a remote part of Essex - North Weald airfield
No noise limits , nothing to hit , just the following challenges :

the infamous high speed turn aka 'The Corner' [:mad:] ;

a tight and twisty slalom [&:] ;

a small and sinuous point to point course aka 'The Circuit' :rolleyes:

Yet to be arranged ....entry fee will depend on number of takers , date will be a Friday between November 05 and April 06 , probably before the blizzards start but during the cold damp season when road tyres are not necessarily a disadvantage [;)] ....don't even ask about insurance , words like 'competitive' and 'timed' won't help.

for background reading see Turnover thread on 964RS forum

Any takers ?

I will be there,should be a great day.Dont know that we 993 boys can let you 964 boys loose in our superfast,grippy machines though.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just let us know when
We are supposed to be having a get together with the gt2 boys and some timing gear at some point,may be this would help share the costs,as there has been nothing fixed yet.

Hi Paul , I've provisionally booked for Friday 9 Dec at North Weald which is not a million miles from Stansted off the M11 , see www.carlimits.com for further info.
Check out the turnover 2 thread on 964RS forum to see who else has expressed interest , over 12 & less than 20 so far....its not a big place , wont get out of 2nd/3rd gear [;)]
seem to be short of 993RSs - don't they come out to play ?

Hi,

I know this is cheeky but can I come and watch or possibly ride shotgun[8D] I will hopefully have my 993 by then and I would like to come and see how it's done[;)] especially as I am only at stansted.

Please please please[:)][:)][:)]
