Our good friends in R4 have very generously invited us the opportunity to join them at East Kirkby airfield on the 6th July.

Sharon Goddard, a 924 owner and R4 member and who's car graced Bridlington Prom at our recent POTP event, has extended the invitation to attend the East Kirkby Rover/MG Classic on 6th July.

Sharon is also a member of Lincolnshire Automobile Club, who helped with the organisation of the show last year. The organisers have kindly offered to put aside a large area for Porsches this year, this has allowed R4 to be able to invite other PCGB regions to attend this wonderful event.

t the moment 40 spaces are available, but they can accommodate more if required.

The Lancaster “Just Jane” will be doing taxying runs, as will the Mosquito, there will be a raffle to win a ride on one of these runs.

The museum will be fully open for people to explore and there will be refreshments available on site. Region 4 will have marshals to show you where to go and where to park. Gates open from 10:00 and exhibitors are requested to be on site by 11:00 at the latest, so that we don’t have too many cars trying to cross the apron when the public are walking around.

Sharon has asked if cars from each region could arrive more or less together, with this in mind Steve Johnson has created a nice drive from the Yorkshire wildlife park.

Hi Peter, Linda and I are looking forward to the event. The Lancaster always reminds me of my father who spent most of the Second World War working on them.
Thanks T & L
