Hi All, I need to raise the front of the 944 in order to remove the engine guard plate and sort out my non working cooling fan (different story). I've read clark's guide but would like to take some advice from those of you that do it day in day out, how and where you lift the front of the car. I want to jack the front of the car up enough that I can then place a section of railway sleeper under each wheel and then settle it back down. This is how I have got underneath my old TVRs and Triumphs in the past. Clark's mentions the front supsension cross member, is this a goer and could someone describe exactly where the jack should be placed if so.
