For the price some people pay in the UK for 911 plates, they should instead go and buy a 911 car abroad and get it registered there using a FREE 911 plate. They really easy to get and I repeat, 911 plates are FREE. In fact, is there any other country than the UK in which a number plate has any value?

My license plates are BI - LL 911 (LL for my sons) for the Cup and BI - HR 911 (HR = my initials) for the convertible......

....not free, each personal plate is 20,-- EURO ![:D][:D][:D]

And I wouldn´t spend more money for a fr*****g license plate, rather buy me a fresh set of rubber and a track day or two.

I think, there are other places in the world, where a plate is worth a lot of money. In some parts of Asia, if I´m right, it´s like the UK.
E. g. in California, many people have personal plates, they are 40,-- $ every year you have them, if my memory serves me correct. You have seven figures or digits to form your plate. Mine over there is "GASFUSS" (= something like leadfoot), booked, but not on a car yet. It´s fun to spot other license plates and try to guess the meaning. Like: "YMI L8" (= Why am I late, seven letters not mandatory) or "THX DAD" ( = Thanks Dad) or "SAY GO", which means "What about a stoplight race?
