I think that RSR is far better qualified than any of us to comment on this, and my own experience would support this.
Values in Europe have increased by around Euro 6000, nice cars are becoming scarcer -- partly because the reduction in values resulted in a lot of cars being treated as consumables without receiving the care they also needed, to their overall detriment. Recovering from this is a very expensive process --- and does affect their originality.
I did also ask the question, what should now be the effect on it's value, of a reshelled car ? --- the Matitime blue Clubsport (M003) currently on this forum.
Certainly expectations have risen --- and who now would wish to sell their car for £35k ? But they were around in the Spring.
Whatever happened to the maritime M001 Lightweight which was advertised at £45k with non standard but Cup1 look 18" wheels ? It doesn't now look so expensive !
Look also at the prices being asked by dealers --- will good LHD cars sell at £48k ? Is a ropey 180Km car worth £34k (could make a great track car) ?
And finally, in absolute terms, how do they drive ? I drove my RHD car to work and back today --- took the long way round (as usual), and had just as much (if not more) than I do in my GT3 MkII --- all B and C roads. I am not exaggerating. I am not bragging about cars. I am simply expressing how I felt. So, what are they worth ?
