I was looking at mine when washing the car, its looking a bit tired and I plan to give it a fresh coat of satin black.

Will it be a bi atch to remove ?

Not the easiest due to rusty bolts which you will probably need to replace.

But from memory you need to remove the back trim under the spoiler first, followed by the trim running down the side of the hatch, then finally the spoiler.

You could always try the BIG HAMMER tecnique but probs not a good idea.I removed the rubber spoiler from mine to fit a big bridge and it was a real pita as all the screws etc were seized in place.Would you not be better to spend a coupole of hour masking it up and then get it painted?

Possibly but it has a couple of little nicks that need repairing and I thought I might be better off fixing them with it off the car, now im not so sure lol.

A good body man will repair those nicks for you and repaint it without having to remove it.
