Our good friend David James at the North Humberside Motor Club has opened a track day invitation to R7 members, North Humberside Motor Club Ltd are running a track half-day on the morning of Saturday 20th November 2021 at Cadwell Park, near Louth, Lincolnshire.

Someone wishing to take part in the track half-day needs to:
  • Fill in the on-line application form
  • make payment to our bank account by bank transfer (as described on the application form).
The last time we ran a track half-day was in 2019 (before Covid-19) and then we held a documentation/signing-on session and a briefing in the café at Cadwell Park early on the Saturday morning.

We are still working through exactly how we are going run things in the current covid-19 era, but in our current thinking we expect closer to the event to ask all participants who have said they will have passengers and/or additional drivers to complete a different on-line form giving details of the passengers/additional drivers (address, telephone numbers, email, emergency contact name, address, telephone numbers).

Then signing-on (for all participants) will probably be on-line.

We are still discussing whether the safety briefing will be on-line or held in the open air at Cadwell Park on the Saturday morning.

Details are on NHMC's Cadwell Stages Rally web-site at

For anyone who doesn't know Cadwell it is a truly wonderful circuit. Grab the opportunity to drive it with both hands and feet!

I"d do it for sure except I'd have to be in the Land Rover. [:(]

Morning all , I'm interested in this , I have a mate who's just bought a 996 could I invite him and his car as my guest ? Or does he need to be a full member ? .Tia sam

Hello Sam, the invitation comes from the North Humberside Motor Club, as it is not a Porsche Club GB event there shouldn't be an issue. Good luck and have fun.

Peter

Graham, I completely agree, Cadwell is a great circuit. Price for this is pretty good also, with details below from the link.
Price:
£70 for one driver,
£20 for each additional driver,
£10 for each passenger.
Why not go round in the Land Rover? I have been around in one, although we were towing someone . . .

Are we covered by locktons for track day cover for this or is it only pcgb organised track days .Tia Sam
