Intermittent wiper adjustment is not working

The one thing that doesn't work on my car is the intermittent wiper delay adjustment - the wiper will work at the intermittent setting, but the delay adjustment dial has no effect; the pause is stuck on 'quite long' I recently replaced the relay with this one from eBay https://ebay.us/m/6KFbmM I measured my adjustment dial's resistance, which ranges from 30K ohm to 260K ohm which matches a spare I have. Anything else I should try?

Ideally, meet up with another member whose intermittent wiper delay adjustment is working and try their relay in your car to see if it is the relay.

Had a similar issue where original relay did fail and got a replacement and still didn't work, then was able to try the relay from another car where I could see it working and that relay worked and turned out my replacement was the problem.

To buy the good relay, I used a part comparison site where you enter the Porsche part number and they tell you the OEM manufacturer(s) and corresponding part numbers for both OEM branded part and other manufacturers who use the same part (e.g VW 789654).

Then I searched online using the OEM manufacturer name and their part number (e.g. Bosch 123456 or Hella 456789) and bought the OEM brand relay from one of the many online suppliers.

To add - most suppliers do not hold stock and simply order from the manufacturers when you buy online and then the manufacturer sends the part directly to you or to the supplier you purchased from who then ships it to you.

I used Autopartoo, Kaka and Yoyo websites and looks like they're now restricted access.

Thinking our 993 uses same wash wipe relay as 944 and will have a look at our relay and get back to you over the weekend.
