what are the little plastic things called that attach the rear carpets to the bodywork? can you get them from anywhere? also can you get the male metal ones too?

TIA

James :)

If you mean the ones around the hatch edge, they aren't available now from Porsche, so I used this type of thing-they look very similar:

Hi,
I brought some of these.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10x-BMW-Interior-Door-Trim-Panel-Boot-Lining-and-Carpet-Fastener-Clips-/280865639150?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4164e58aee

which worked fine. You need to check the diameter of the hole they are going to fit in though to make sure to get the right ones.
Regards
Jason

I got mine from Porsche Solihull last month colour Black .....in fact they gave me double the amount I ordered my mistake[:D]

I'm going to keep them just in case as they do break [>:]

There all terrabile looking, originals are nice and simple. Halfords sell flat black clips. Porsche ones are textured. EBay often ask 4 a small finger or toe. Iv got some in black from a 944S I'm bracking, new car uses blue.

How many u after ?

Got some newish 16v ignition leads aswell

Do you need the plastic clips which fasten the side carpets? You may struggle because youll need linen coloured ones. If you cant buy the right colour from an OPC, then Id probably buy lots of cheap replacements in black (or whatevers available) and replace them all.

ORIGINAL: 944 man

Exactly what I did-they look fine.

And when I asked my OPC, they said that the originals were all NLA in all colours !

If we are talking about these they are still available........well they were last month when I got these

£2:15 ea, plus VAT? Thats a bit of a lark, eh? Still, people with black trim may have other options, but people with grey/beige, linen, burgundy and grey cant find an alternative as easily.

Might sound daft but I reckon they could buy them in black and paint them with model paint?

My cream carpet, had black poppers and black plugs, never thought it looked out off place.

James Iv got black ones but they mostly halfords ones so it be easyer 2 give ur local store a try.

Mine had black clips with cream carpet which I didn't like. I bought some grey clips online which were better as they didn't stand out so much. I recently painted them with linen leather paint left over from doing the seats and it looks much better. I would imagine that model paint would work just as well.
