Insurance value for Boxster S ??

Hi there,

I've just purchased a '00 Boxster S and I live in Dublin. Do any of you experienced Porsche owners out there in R27 have any recommendations for the best value in insurance in Ireland. I'm 34 and have a full NCB. I have heard that St. Paul Insurances give the best value for performance cars. Can anyone vouch for them?

€2,400 pa is the best quote so far.

Do any companies give discounts to Porsche Club Members?

I have a 2.7 with 4 years NCB and am insured with Allianz. Think my comprehensive preium was under 2k for the year.

I think most companies will quote on a boxster - its the 911 they get scared about...

Best advise is just to go to a good broker (smallish and known to you if possible) and let them do all the donkey work...

Thanks for that.

My renewal is up in September. I'll try to remember to post my progress.

.st paul,
