My ingition leads have snapped when trying 2 change the plugs on my turbo, I have new 16v leads on my old 944S can I use these on an 8v?

Anyone surgesst the best place 2 get new ones b4 Saturday?

Thanks

As for S2 leads - try them to see if they will fit. As for getting 2 new leads - IMHO you should be replacing the set - two came apart in your hands - the rest must just as cooked and near failure.

Iv got no issue with replacing the set. Just I need the car this weekend. Last time I was in a simmler postion and could only get breu leads from euro car parts, £160 even though they sell 8v ones at £80

Looks like gfs MIT have a set 4 £57 there back 2 back with euro car parts. Means getting the train 2 work. But if the 16v leads will work I can up grade 2 some magnior coils

I wouldn't get replacement OEM leads, best leads for the Turbo would be the Magnecor Red 8.5mm leads . Good quality and give a bigger spark= more power. There are suppliers on EBay that should do these for less than £100.

This is what I would like 2 do, but I need the car this weekend, which was y I was wondering if I could use 16v leads untill then. Anyone know y these wouldn't work? Are the ends the same? Just the length that MIT be differnt?

MIT be able 2 get new leads from gsf and euro car part £60/70
Will call them tmw see if in stock MIT collect sat if these 16v leads don't fit. The other car is 15miles away so I can't test my self

Just try them as you can't harm them but I'm not sure about the fit

Experiment it's handy having spare cars to rob bits off my 924s is constantly being striped to keep the turbo on the road
