I am fitting an induction kit, and was wondering if anyone else had done the same?

If so how can the assembly be braced I was thinking of fabricating a bracket that could be fitted over the engine lift hoop,- any thoughts?

Also the breather pipe, I will fit a small filter, can this tube be rotated to go under the new one?

Cold air feed from the wheel arch- any clever solutions.

In search of maximum power from the car any further ideas??

Can be done, I think essential styling do a kit, but I haven't done it so can't help more than that!

It has often been said that it is difficult to extract much more power from the 2.5 engine as Porsche did such a good job in the first place. I do know one owner needed a rebuild due to high mileage so took his car to Kevin Eacock at EMC engines in Birmingham. EMC prepare the cars for the 944 race series.

His was rebuilt using balanced crank, lightened internals, skimmed head, polished ports etc and the car made 190bhp. This cost circa £1500 and the owner was hoping to break 200bhp with a rolling road remap of the ECU. I hope to take my S2 there in a few years when the mileage gets on a bit [:D]

I fitted a kit to my Lux purchased from 9xauto on the States. It didn't fit originaly but worked well after remanufacturing the bracket. At least I got it to fit eventualy which is more than can be said for their Turbo offering.[:mad:]

There was no disernable improvement in performance but it did make the engine bay tidier and sounded realy great under load.
