TUESDAY 24TH JUNE
What the Puck?
O.k. Playmates (you lucky people) - we have yet again another special R7 treat for you this month ..... and this time we really are away with the fairies!
For anyone not in the know the Peak Streak is a glorious 160 mile 'figure of eight' route which takes in some of the very best roads / views the South Pennines and Peak District have to offer.
Within the main route itself are several loops and switch-backs which can be included at will in order to mix things up a little and provide extra variety / interest plus there is also scope to lengthen or shorten the trip according time / taste etc.
The starting point is the Shell filling station on the A61/A616 junction just off J36 M1 and I will confirm the time and other details in due course.
N.b. this one will be a mid afternoon departure and will run for around 6 hours including stops and eats.
- Bring a radio if you have one.
- No Google Maps / printed routes / guide notes etc will be provided.
- No formation flying, bomb runs, automotive tigs or land speed record attempts allowed.
Max = 5 cars / 10 people - so as good old Fred once said ' ......book early!'
Best regards to all.
Zeusy.

'Lord what fools these mortals be!'
