I am not sure what the seller means by
well received by PCGB
because this is the first I have known about this car and I am unsure who has endorsed this statement.

Being part on the 2013 Silverstone parade is hardly an endorsement to put such a wildly excessive price on a 964. They were 1208 cars on the parade that day, including my last 911, but it's certainly not worthy if putting an increased premium on any car just because it took part.

Lovely looking car, great photography and superb photoshopping too. Overpriced? Without a shadow of a doubt IMHO.

There is no indication in the article in GT Porsche that the car is for sale - in fact the inference is that the car is a 'keeper' because of the amount of work that has gone into producing a very personal product. However, the magazine hits the shelves then hey-ho, said car pops up on Pistonheads at a highly inflated price (because surely that's what it is).

Yes, on the face of it the car is undeniably very nice and well executed, but when the seller uses participation in the Silverstone record as a selling point, it makes you wonder...

Now, where's my Silverstone record plaque? I must get my insurance valuation increased asap...!
