Welcome to the forum!
In this thread (click here), there are a lot of links to various common questions about the Boxster - including cleaning the rear screen. I assume you mean the plastic screen, not the later glass one?
I personally use something called "Novus" which I bought in the USA $3.99 for a 500 ml bottle, spray on wipe off. It's clear and doesn't scratch.
About once a year I use the Porsche supplied cleaner as a small build up of muck does not get shifted by the Novus (or maybe I don't use it often enough). The Porsche stuff does a good job, but is a little abrasive, so apply with care, and it will stain white if you get it on the hood.
Others have recommended "Hindsight", the Zymol plastic screen cleaner kit, and probably more...
Don't use glass cleaner though - some will melt the plastic [

There are proper cream and pastes to clean the rear windows, works amazingly and seem's to keep it clean inside for quite a long time.
Gary,
any idea on the name and place where you bought it????

don't forget to do the Boxster chop (stop roof at half open and knock out any creases using the flat of your hand)when ever you put the roof down.

I can vouch for the Zymol Hindsight product - works very well; can be obtained from

Give the Boxster a final "CHOP" and buy an SLK and loose any credibility with any other road user who knows anything about the way a car handles, goes or stops!!!
I could not agree anymore!!
