How much for second hand MBC and DPW?

I may have a used MBC and DPW for sale in the very near future. Although, I don't know what these are worth or if there is any demand for these on the second hand market.

Can someone advise how much I would be able to sell these for? (Or if there is anyone here interested in purchasing these?)

MBC bought from Promax or RPM last year and in good condition. ( I can't be 100% sure which one of the two companies I bought it from until I check the receipt. Happy to do this if anyone is interested.)

The DPW is a Lindsay Racing item and works fine. It was on the car when I bought it and I haven't had any issues with it at all. I haven't checked the paperwork this evening but out of memory, this would have been fitted to the car in mid/late 2010 by the previous owner.

Maybe £200-£250 for the DPW and £40-£50 for the MBC as a guesstimate all dependent on condition.

Jmg sold 2 new / used 4 testing linsey dpw £150 I belive. And one just sold on eBay 4 £170 a few weeks back. If you remove these from your car, your most likey need 2 change the chip set and vac lines.

As linsey is stock body. I would leave it on there in dpw set up. Run normal chips and cycle valve. If your returning 2 stock set up, most cars will be slightly different so I wouldn't worry if yours profoms better then most stock setups

A Dawes Device can be bought new for £20, cant it? The Lindsey wastegates aren't fantastic either, in my opinion. A Tial is far better, new and not a lot dearer.

Yes, but when buying 4 944 turbo from Porsche parts sellers its £80

Please post some links £20 ones that would be suitable

I considered a Tial before buying a Lindsey as for the spec I want now, the ease of fitting appeals considerably.

I paid £175 for a used Linsdsay DPW which I would say is on the money. A Promax MBC is about £55 new so I would say £30/£40 would be fair enough if its in good nick.

I would offer them as a pair for £200 as most people starting to modify their 944t will likely want both items. A 3 bar fpr and a nice chipset will see your 250 turbo up to 300bhp or your 220 turbo up to 270bhp not to mention holding boost much closer to the red line.

Cheers

Stuart

I haven't even thought about a Dawes for over ten years Tel, but it appears that despite a recent price rise, an exchange rate collapse and the passing of a decade, theyre still available for £24 plus postage (from 3-Bar Racing)!

Thanks Simon, Iv gone ebc. But I often looked at the other types and wondered if there better and cheaper without the P tax

Simon, what are your reasons for preferring the Tial wastegate (which one in particular) over the LR DPW?

For now I am trying to stay stock though ;). But as we all know...
