How many miles over the service indicator?

Hello. With the service departments now closed, hopefully someone can advise please. 981 Boxster S displaying that the service is due in 200 miles. Does anyone know how many miles you can go beyond the service indicator without invalidating the warranty? Trying to advise someone who is going to struggle over Christmas with conserving the miles.

Thanks

Hi flat6 - Just a thought, but many, including mine, have had warnings that there are so many miles to next service but that has not been the case. OPC has re programmed to correct info. Unless you are aware that a service is indeed due according to the handbook it may be giving you false info.
Not sure about Porsche but Landrover have always been very flexible if a few hundred miles even 1000mls. have gone over.

Thanks David, you're probably dead right there. It's a 2012 and had an intermediate service July 2014 at 9000 miles so and has neither done 2 years nor 20,000 miles since then.

Thanks. Enjoy the Christmas period and New Year [:)]
