I am sure a lot of people have had this (or have it) but thought I would list the works I have had done to see if anyone can point me to another culprit!
New fuel pump with working non return valve, new accumulator fitted, new injectors (as thought o rings could be perished). Starts very well when cold or starting straight after turning off. If I leave the car over 20 mins (heat soak?) it will not start.
The airflow meter arm does lift to start fuel flow through when I crank the engine. I can lift the arm to prime the injectors to start.
I did list this in the 2.7 section but have another question. The mechanic fitted a new accumulator by copying the one already there but I notice that my mates 3.0SC has a bigger accumulator (mine for the 2.7 is a about a third of the size), would this give me my problem?
