Historic Rally Car

Thinking of buying a 924 to have as a historic rally car. Can I have any advice on pros and cons please? Thanks in advance
 
Hi all please I'm trying to fit a 944 engine into my 924 any help would be much appreciated thanks

Unless it is a 924S, you are facing an uphill battle!


Indeed so. Best option would be to sell it and buy an S . Job done.
 
Thanks John iys a 924turbo could I fit side droughts 45s to the 944engine as I do not have a computer box thanks
 
I don't see why not, although the canted engine may be a bit of a pain for space. You may still need some sort of engine management though as I don't believe there is any mechanical ignition advance on the distributor.
