Hi everyone, I am a first time Porsche owner and have just joined the owners club. I am from Dartford, anyone else nearby?

Previously i was an F-Type driver but fancied a change. The 718 and F-Type are two very different drives.

I am off on a bit of a road trip in a week to the Italian lakes. Will be touring the Black forest, Austria and Switzerland. Looking forward to see how the car performs on the mountain passes as well as the Auto Bauhns. My windscreen seems full of road tax, emission stickers and toll tags. Hope to visit the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart too.

The other car in this image is my sons Abarth which is great fun to drive and gets more attention than my Porsche

Hi welcome
Not only did I until recently live in norfleet and Strood (moved to Scotland in 2017) but also have a Cayman (981s) and am just planning our second euro tour, we went in June 17 for about 19 days taking in Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Holland and including the Porsche museum and lake garda plus flüela Pass, next tour is going to be next June, which lakes are you going to?

Hi COD981

We will be taking in lakes Garda, Como and Maggiore. I just had a little Google of the flüela Pass and it looks rather interesting. Thank for the tip

Hi,
I'm based in Dartford. I have just bought a Cayman. There seems to be a few of us around this area.

Welcome.

There are a few of us around. I am in Strood. And there are some other folks dotted around localish.

Keep an eye out for the regional events. Sunday breakfasts are a great place to meet a few folks.

Make sure Pearl and Phil (R25 RO's) have your email address so you get the monthly email updates. Monthly meets are normally second Wednesday at West Malling Golf Club.
