Just joined PCGB and wanted to say hello. I own a 1990 928 S4 Auto in Guards Red. Bought it in 2020 and it’s become a long-term family project with plans to keep it for the next generation.
Right now the car’s in the garage getting a load of important mechanical bits sorted. Including but not limited to coolant hoses, breather hoses, knock sensors, FOE harness, a few temperature sensors, lambda sensor, and fresh vacuum and ancillary pipes. I’m aiming to get it running solidly so I can finally enjoy more driving and start looking at a quality respray next.
Would appreciate any recommendations for top quality 928 body or paint garages in the UK, ideally those used by other members, and any general tips on keeping these cars reliable.
Looking forward to meeting other 928 owners and getting more involved
