Yep, picked the 944 Turbo up from Jon Mitchell last night and very nearly flew home![8D][:D].And in comfort too. My dashboard is all lit up in a very nice fluorescent Blue, which you can dim if required. The clock actually works now, that fcuking anoying leak from the gearbox input shaft or, whatever the hell it's called has now been sorted out (dry as a bone underneath) and, finaly, the APEXI-AVCR is fcuking superb! Turned it into a fcuking Formula One car! What a piece of kit! Fitted very, very neatly too [8D][:D]!! Thank you Jon (and Mark) for a first class job. Back in for the KW V3 suspension work BEFORE the Nurburgring me thinks [8D][;)].

Yep, it sure is great news! I was kinda missing him if you get my drift [;)]. I will defo try and get some piccy's up asap, maybe this weekend if at all possible. However, i will probably only have him back for two or three weeks and then it's back to Jon's again for the KW V3 project [8D]. Just can't wait!![:D]. If i heard Jon correctly, i think he was talking about uprated 968 anti-roll bars with Powerflex Polybushes. Would that sound right guy's?

Just make sure you get them set up properly to your use. Mine are now set 2 clicks below the kw recommendations and its made all the difference for the road, much more compliant but still plenty firm enough for spirited country driving. For the track I would suggest perhaps 1-3 clicks over the kw recommendations. You may want to get Jon to set up to kw specs first and then do a test drive and try 2 clicks under and see the difference, thats how I would do it now having done it myself.

Ideally you'll also want it corner balanced as the coilovers allow for this adjustment, although this could be done later. You'll also probably need to re-index the torsion bar as otherwise the torsion bar will still be used in tandem with the coilovers when really you want the coilovers to work largely on their own. At least thats how I understand it.

Am totaly back in love with the '44 Turbo again[8D],Loads more mod's in mind! Jon is going to sort the corners and set up the geometry,f/w laser alignment and all that. Exiting stuff indeed[8D]. I'm thinking, "Sod the budget" and, going for it with this one, just like Ewan [:D]. Can't wait for some trackdays to come along[8D].
