Help with Rear Valance

Hi All,

After searching for ages, I have finally managed to get a rear valance (in the fastest colour) for my Lux.

My question is: Does it just bolt/screw to the rear bumper or should there be a rubber seal between them?

Thanks,

Jeff

You need to buy the clip-in inserts from Porsche and then it just bolts up to these with no rubber needed. You also need to drill a couple of holes in each side and use nuts on the inside of the rear boot duckets.

Do you mean an S2/turbo valance, or the Lux option "toastrack" valance? The latter needs a rubber seal, should be with it if it's an original one.

Hi Paul,

It is the "toastrack" one as pictured.

It didn't come with a rubber seal - do you know where can I get one from?

Thanks

An original slotted rear valence will be made out of ABS. If its GRP then I wouldnt bother as the original rubber trim wont fit, and theyre not available now anyway as far as I am aware.

Mine was refitted without the seal which had disintegrated, and it looks fine.[:)]

Thanks for replies.

Think I will fit it and see how it looks.
