Hi all,

Anyone in or near Lewes, East Sussex able to have a look at a 924 for me?

Would be much appreciated if you can
 
How long can you wait?

If no one can help you for a few weeks I am happy to go and look at the 924 for you :).
 
Hi Andy, did you bell Merlin (what?) last night about the 924? Did you "Buy It Now"? He was quite a nice chap and took me round to the garage where he kept the car and, let me go over it for twenty minutes. Whilst i'm NOT a car mechanic or, "Specialist" in any sense of the word, it seems to me like a top buy for the money with, only minimal rust issues as far as I can see. The tyres are good, though I suspect you would change those for Toyo Proxes 888's or similar if it was going to become a track machine [8D]. No evidence of any oil leaks underneath, interior in vgc, starts first time and, sounds really nice! If you are serious then, be quick! As I said last night on the phone, Merlin has two people coming to look today. he is willing to accept a deposit from you and end the auction straight away. I can always pick it up for you and keep it on my drive until you are ready to collect if that suits? Let me know mate [:D].
