HELP!! Need to fit a new 944 2.7 front spoiler...

Hello, does anyone know the procedure for fitting a new 944 lower front spoiler (no foglamps) to a 1989 2.7?

I have to replace the one on mine due to damage and I am wondering where all the hidden bolts are?!

thanks, Bob

Never had to take one off, but I do know there are quite a few bolts! As far as I can tell from the PET there should be 3 either side. 1 central strut and 1 either side of the front opening and at least 1 either side for the inner wing. Hope that helps.

Three along each edge to the wing and one on either side bottom to the support bracket (I dont think that Ive missed any, but its been 15yrs...). Simon

There are 3 either side joining to the wing; 1 on each side at the bottom just in front of the wheel; 4 in the middle in front of the radiator vertically; 2 either side of the middle horizontally; and 1 in the centre horizontally. I also seem to remember a couple either side behind the fog lights, but I may be wrong on that. Its much easier if you put the car up on ramps so you can get your head underneath the sides to see what you are doing.

Hello, thank you all for your replies. I will arm myself with some WD40 and post a few photos when (if!) I can remove it. Bob
