Help I have damaged my Turbo

I was enjoying 4 wheel drive in the pouring rain returning from the Snetterton Charity day on Saturday. Suddenly a hare appeared from the nearside and hit the front of my 6 month old car. The result is that I have lost the front aero kit spoiler and have two splits in the front wrap around.
Having scraped the ground on inclines about 6 times already I am thinking about my options for replacement. Can the cracks be mended or am I looking at a new front? Secondly is the front different with the aero kit, if not I am assuming that I can revert to the standard spoiler which will give me more ground clearance.

Richard, you have my sympathy, exactly the same thing happened to me on my identical car when I hit a rabbit. My bumper looked undamaged but the mounting lugs came off with the spoiler so the whole bumper had to be replaced, as did the inner wing shield. The estimate was just under £1900 inc vat, £487 for the bumper, £360 for the Aerokit spoiler and £80 for the inner wing. The rest was paint, vat and labour. Since I have protected no claims I put it through my insurance and just paid the excess. I also took the opportunity to have Armourfend applied the spoiler and bumper as the first spoiler had suffered badly from stone chips "" don't think it's rabbit proof though [;)]

I don't believe the standard spoiler gives any more ground clearance; it just doesn't protrude quite as far forward and so is better on ramps. Porsche say in their description of the Aerokit that the rear wing can only be used in conjunction with the front lip spoiler. This is presumably to maintain aerodynamic balance so it's probably not wise to change the spoiler to the standard item. OTOH, I'm sure the bumper is the same so you could fit the standard spoiler if you really wanted to.

Richard you have my sympathy, I had a near miss with a deer the other day
if a hare can do that to your car, goodness only knows what a deer would have done (it actually ran behind me straight into the side of a 40 footer going the other way, we all stopped the traffic & the lucky thing came too after a few minutes & trotted off, all be it with a BIG headache).
I have seen a GT2 front bumper for sale on page 3 of the classifieds & the guy was only asking £300 (if it hasn't already sold) & noticed that Jasmine also has Turbo front bumpers for sale in the "Post", just in case this helps. The only other thing I would add is I got two quotes for a front bumper respray only, the one from a Merc body shop was about £350 & the OPC quoted about £550 both plus VAT, seems it's worth shopping around for repair prices, best of luck !
 
It will be an insurance job. The inner wing is broken and the radiator is also bent. When the aerokit spoiner cane off the front it went under the car and has damaged a sideskirt.
