The 944 WAS an earlier lot, and I HATED the claret interior (and not just a bit of claret - it was like an explosion at the OddBins warehouse).

But I could have put up with almost anything for NINE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE POUNDS!!!!![:mad:]

What really ticked me off was seeing a very nice looking 944 passing through Ferndown driven by a contented looking owner when I was having lunch with Sharon. You've guessed it - it was the same car!
 
I was going to pass comment on Dave's "not too fussy" comment earlier, I decided to just smile to myself[;)]

Nope, not spoken to Karl, just been to the odd auction myself.

A while ago I would have said don't worry about the interior, and entire new nice leather interior can be bought for £250, in your choice of colour, but apparently those days are over... I can understand, I don't think many people can stomach that interior.

Oh I see ! I'm sure they are around for cheap money. You just need the patience and to know where to look !
