Hello....hello.....anyone here??

Johnny ,hows your discs.

Hi Paul, cheers for setting up this section. [:D]

I'm picking up the car from Red Line Racing on Sunday and then I'm driving to Croft which is near them to watch the GT racing. I guess the car will be back to full health then as they know their stuff. It's had the front splitter repaired (for the second time) and an oil change. I've gone with Silkolene Pro S 10W-50, fully synthetic. I've also had the steering wheel centred which was doing my head in. The OE discs are on, with standard rear pads. I have kept the hardly worn Pagid Yellows on the front as you suggested and I will break them in gently obviously. Thanks for your advice there.

I was on the blower today to Colin. He is always full of kind words for you...........[;)]

Incidentally whan I was at Red Line the other day I got to have a look around Richard Westbrook's invincible Carrera Cup car. I also had a look at the Cup car that had that huge off at the final bend in the second Carrera Cup race on Sunday. It is really f*cked and they are re-shelling it. Big accident that was. I like Motors TV's coverage....cheap and cheerful but very very welcome.

Hi Paul,
I may well try to pop along and watch you at Oulton on 14th.
By the sounds of it, your time of 1min 11.5 sec at Combe, you must be getting used to the GT2 then?

John

Hi Vic
It must be something special to get 5stars!
Johnny watch out for my mate in a gt3cup peter Morris, he will be on a Mission, and has to prove the car is fast. The car will have PMC on it, as logos/advertising.

Looking forward to oulton ,have another gt2 to race against, Peter cook, He is fast in his wide rook body shaped car. So we will see.

Hi Paul,

Well, I've just got back from Croft and it was the worst weather I have ever seen there. We are talking thunder, lightening and hail stones spitting so hard, they actually hurt you.

Peter was going OK until his car packed up at Tower. 30 seconds later he got it going again. He was being interviewd over the tannoy system and he said to the spectators that he thought it was an electrical problem. A Morgan very nearly won the race, obviously a 911 won!! Very exciting, lots of crashes/offs as well owing to the rain/hail.

Hi
thanks for the info,i wondered what had happened as i followed it on the mst timing web site.I will be chatting to peter in the morning,we always have a reveiw phone call on the monday morning after our racing exploits
