Hello from Scotland - Donald Grewar here after 4 years in the Porsche wilderness! Looking to get back to Porsche ownership and hoping to find a good S2 or Turbo, or another immaculate 2.7 like my former 'black beauty'!
Now living near St Andrews in Fife. FOND memories of the Scottish tours!
Advice about purchasing welcome....

Welcome Donald! There are official organised meets regularly (which I have yet to attend) and unofficial meets at the garage of Alasdair (SULZERUK) in Bonnybridge where a number of us meet to do drop in repairs / drink tea / talk cars. I'd suggest you look out for these happening and get along to them. You may even get leads for car sales from an attendee at these gatherings and will definitely get advice re buying.

If you are ever around Edinburgh then you could pop in to see my s2 / turbo.

Good luck with the search. This is a great time to be buying these cars....

Will try to drop by in August Steve, am monitoring the market just now and balancing a holiday to USA and hinting to wife about re-entering 944 world!!
