Heating control mechanism automatic

Hi,
Does anyone refurbish the heating control mechanisms in the 84-89 cars, mine happens to be an 87 Turbo but it seems from the parts listing that they're pretty similar?

Hello Peter, Recently I had an email from a Register member that had a problem with the electronic module, the one located between the seats. Not sure if your problem lies in the same place and if it is mechanical or electrical.
Seems the online German PET Porsche parts list show the electronic module at around €660. Doing a quick search I found a modern alternative, other supplier alternatives may be available:

It looks different from the original, is this what you may need? Looks like under £200 - bargain compared to £600! Let us know how you get on. Steve
