Heater controls on 997.1

Hi David
In my experience nearly all of the aftermarket ones are similar but some have correct fonts.
I used some ones off ebay that were £30 and have the correct font but the font is not quite as white as the rest of the dash if being very pedantic.

The aftermarket ones are not soft touch finish so wont disintegrate on human contact.

They have really smartened up the dash and are a simple DIY fit if you have the required torx tools and small screwdrivers. Lots of videos on youtube to help. It's about an hour to do a decent job.

best wishes

I would also add to the advice offered by other posters is that some of the cheap versions don't "light up" but rather the lettering is made of solid white paint. I opted for cheap AliExpress versions and they illuminated. If I were you I'd buy the pair from Amazon.
Good luck.

Afternoon, David.
Hope all fine in the Baker household these days[:)].
I replaced both about 3 or 4 months via the same product you've linked to.
Absolutely fine, both night (illuminated) and daytime driving, and exactly as per original font.
Damn - just tried to upload 2 x (phone) pics to illustrate same, but am blocked out as they're way too big at 3 / 4 MB each!
But if you'd like to see them still, of course just email on the address you have for me as it's still the same.
Cheers,
Graeme

Haha, not in the 993, that is. (Still got my old picture showing in my profile as not found one / made one small enough yet of the 997.1... !)
