HEATED REAR SCREEN SLOW ???

Hi All

I have just noticed as its winter here and VERY damp that although my rear screen electric demister wires work ,its VERY slow to demist.....usually takes around 15 minutes plus for the screen lines to meet each other

To me it seems maybe to be NOT getting enough amperage ???
Anyone with an S2 had this problem.....or is it usual ???
