Headlight wiring

Standing in the garage scratching my head........does anyone know between the brown and yellow wires on the dipped lamp, which is positive and which is negative????

Looking at the wiring diagram (albeit for a 986) the yellow is live and the brown is earth.

No, it drives up via a screw driven through its' own gearbox from an electric drill.

Also breaks down into four parts which if I had a normal sized car would go in the boot.
 
You will get me in trouble but as it's a Sunday and you can't get one in the UK around $2K (yes dollars) shipped to the UK.
