Headlight lifter beam

Ben at Faze1 Porsche motorsport lent me a headlight lifter beam bar today so that i can get it zinc plated as part of my engine bay detailing, how much is involved in taking my old one off & fitted the fresh one when it comes back from the platers ? will i upset any adjustments when i do so & if so how do i avoid making a hash of the whole operation ?, cheers, Jinxy
