Hazard switch mounting?

Anyone know how the hazard warning switch mounts or is secured to the switch panel above the glovebox? Is there some kind of clip or spring that holds the hooked lugs on the back of the switch (can't see anything on PET)? Apparently this is an MOT failure if not secure.

Cheers

It clips into the facia plate, so if its loose its either the tabs on the switch broken or the facia is broken.

IIRC switch is about £25 and facia about £17. I've changed several switches because the tabs had broken.

Superglue should secure it for the MOT! [8|]

Guys thanks for your rapid response - as always.

Now if you really do that then I'll be most impressed.

Do feel free to drop me a line if you need more details additional to those on the thread.

Oli.
