Harness fix points, whilst keeping origional belts

After some advice please.[8|]
Just got a half cage to fit to the car (with Harness bar), and going to purchase a set of harness's (4 point) probably schroth
I want to keep the existing seatbelts in for convenience, and was wondering which is the best way to fix the bottom mounts of the harness?
I guess it would be to use new eye bolt's and plates installed into the floor!
Or is there a way of fixing them to the seat?
Advice or pics would be greatfully appreciated.

If you seats are original CS seats, you can buy the lower seat belt braket from your OPC, you already have 1 per seat where the seat belt buckle clip is. Get another two and then you can bolt your lap straps straint to the seat.

5/6 points are better as they stop the buckle riding up to high and do give extra anti submarining protection in a crash. I had a bar made that bolts to the seat, between the runners and the mounting that has the 5th strap mounted to it. It means your harness and seat move as one, so no adjustment needed once set.

Ive got a set of these in my 968 . They work well. BUT dont come cheap.....
The 9001 , 9003 are the ones i have, BUT the 9004 might work a bit better....
porscheshop sell them, BUT you might find them cheaper elsewhere...[]

I was in the yellow boxster as the gearbox died on mine, appoligies if me or my mate held anyone up! first time out at dony and newish to trackdays, plus it was his car[]. Think they would have been better off with all sessioned in the morning, to let us slower ones get some steam up first.

Thanks for the help and advice, do you still have the origional belts in your car along side harness? Looks a bit tight down on the tunnel side, guess you mount the tunnel one in front of the existing belt.

No worries Shawn, just thought i would ask, my first time aswell, just hooned around really, had to shove a muffler type baffle in my exhaust as it was too noisy 102db oops that choked the car up and it would'nt rev passed 5.5k. good luck with your gearbox, got to take mine out soon aswell bloody selector shaft has elongated hence a sloppy gear lever. atb pazzer.

Yes i have the normal belts in aswell...
Yes it is a tad tight by the trans tunnel, but the BK bits work well....
Itd be good to see your car out on track once the gearbox issues are resolved... Just to see how fast it actually is....
If you havnt uprated the suspension, i would defo recomend the KW stuff...If your putting 360bhp through the "old" stuff, youl soon find it wanting..... Ive had mine fitted for well over 2 years now + its fab....

Gearbox is being done on week after next, get it back just before I go on hol's.
Next track day will be end of July onwards, probably Oulton or Dony (favourite two tracks of mine to date).
I have new adjustable koni's on with standard springs, must admit I have been pondering over haveing the KW v3 fitted whilst the car is having the gearbox done![8|]
Only thing that stops me is do they have to be adjusted often, don't want to be doing too much of the mechanic thing each time I go out.
More than welcome to a pax lap or three
Think it needs some work on getting cool air through the intercooler to help the hp, looking at the intercooler vent and duct that they put on the RS's, have a friend that makes carbon fibre accesories for Jetski's, he s looking into it for me to see if he could make one.

Chris, Had mine done last year, make s big difference, same on the bank balance unfortunately (think you have to buy a kit c.a. £200) + fitting
Shame about only being able to get 5.5 k, halfway through the engines fun zone!
