Has been great whenever I have gotten the chance to get out on the open road though.
Enjoying Ireland a lot so far. Has been a great move heading over here.

You certainly don't mind putting a pot-hole or two on the roads over here! Certainly experiencing (?) the stiff suspension to the full!
Yeah.. and the funny (?) bit is that after driving on these roads, and surviving the potholes with your teeth intact, you then have a suspension test as part of the nct ! (equivalent of the mot over here, for those that don't know).
You will also find that the staying on your own side of the white-line is optional when there are potholes where your wheels would usually be, irresepctive of oncoming traffic, or anyone behind who could have been already overtaking.
Reminds me of an old tv ad .. "the weaver-bird weaves from lane to lane .... "
I'm sure it makes for "interesting" journeys, each one being a voyage of (pothole) discovery !
