Hand brake cable...

Can any tell me how to get the handbrake cable out of the trailing arm?

do I need to disconect from behind the torsion bar carrier? or from the handbrake in the cabin?

I have it disconnected the cable but there is a bracket on the end that will not go thought the arm and will not come out far enought to allow me to disconnect it doing drivers side first[:)]
