Good Cover-Zone Experience

I'm not shy to moan about poor service, so thought I'd mention some good service I've had recently.

Last year I bought a cover from cover-zone. It's a pretty good fit and has done it's job ok.

My car been with an bodywork guy (an acquaintance doing work cash in hand for me) a few times with a list of jobs like sills, arches, etc. Each time I would ask him to remove the old phone aerial, but each time the car would return with the aerial still present because he ran out of time doing the other jobs. I worried that the aerial might damage the cover, but have never removed it because it would leave a big hole in the roof. As I feared, a couple of weeks ago a nice little tear appeared. Well, more like a big T shaped tear, about 22cm wide and long.

A simple email to cover-zone and they popped a repair patch in the post for me, free of charge. Unfortunately it's pretty small, so I email again, expected to be fobbed as a 22cm repair patch isn't exactly small. To my surprise I get a response within minutes saying another patch is on it's way.

It hasn't arrived yet, but I would have expected most companies to just expect me to buy a new cover, not help me patch up an old one and lose a potential sale. I hope to be getting another car in the Autumn, so will definitely be buying the new cover from them!

I've got one of their stormforce covers Chris and am really pleased with it. I actually emailed them today as lately when I take the cover off there's fine fibres on the car. They say they expect the cover to last 3-5 years, mine is pushing 4 years old now. I didn't expect them to do anything as it's well out of warranty, I only wanted to know if this was normal and they said it probably needs replacing now. Therefore, they've offered a discount for a replacement.

I can't argue with that
