When I find time to fit the KW's I definately need a geo setup, if I can't get center of gravity to do it who really knows what they are doing on a 944 around Beds,Cambs etc.

You might try JZ Machtech too, they've set my car up a few times and are very thorough, and they will work with you to get the right sort of setup for your tastes. Whilst it's not cheap the price wasn't that bad for the amount of work they do and it includes corner weighting and so on. I suppose it might be a touch excessive for a car used on the road only though.

There's also been a lot of talk about how thorough Centre of Gravity are on Pistonheads, and they're not a million miles away.

Thanks for the suggestions, I have been in contact with Chris at centre of gravity and they are my first choice but 4 to 6 weeks for a slot makes me wonder if anyone else is as good, reading PH suggests not.

I doubt very much the people have used CoG have back to back compared them to their competitors, whilst I'm sure they do a very good job I remain sceptical that this isn't the usual forum hype (to some degree at least). I'd wager JZ would do a very similar job, so it's just down to comparing the costs.

Following on from our earlier discussions on proximity....

Give me a ring to discuss settings if you want 01480 812771 or pop round sometime.

I can thoroughly recommend the following:

Mark Fish Engineering - Harlow - 01279 431628 I've used Mark for ~ 20years, he doesn't have all the laser alignment kit but knows exactly how to set racecars/ track day cars up including the 3 x Porsches I've taken to him.

Yours

Chris

I've got my 968 booked in at Centre Gravity in a couple of weeks - if it's just a straight forward geo you want doing, then it will take between 4.5 to 5.5hrs.

The people who turn up at 8 am and leave at midnight are normally having masses of work done to their cars.

I spoke to Chris at Centre Gravity on the phone for about 40minutes when booking in my car - he's obviously is a perfectionist and not only takes the time to set up the car properly, but he sets it up with your driving preferences taken into account as well.

What are you having done ?.

I recently had new bushes fitted all around, so it'll be just be geometry for me.

I'd love a set of KWs, but can't justify it at the moment!

That's pretty normal at geo places, to be honest. If they were anything less I would be concerned, and certainly not taking my business there.
