Just got my car back from an Approved Bodyshop after a hit and run on my OSR today.

It was a hard knock on a roundabout causing me to spin.

The bodywork had mild damage and the OSR wheel took most of the force and the wheel was badly damaged.

Anyway, bodywork looks good but the printout for the Geo settings dont seem to be correct and differ a fair bit from how Chris @ Center Gravity set it up for me earlier in the year (I set the bodyshop these settings).

According to the bodyshop, they have set my car up using settings for a 98-2005 Carrera / Sport 996 (USA). Is this correct?

So, before I go back to the bodyshop can anyone confirm what the recommended factory settings are for my car? I have the a 98 C2 Tiptronic with M030 kit and 18" Sport design 2 wheels.

I still have the recommended settings from Center Gravity but just need the factory setting for comparison.
 
Sorry to hear of your bump Rob.

If they have set it up for USA Sport suspension, it will likely be wrong. RoW M030 is much lower ride height, and generally stiffer.

Drop me an email, and I'll attach the correct settings to a reply in the morning when I get to my PC.

Shame about the bump, could have been worse of course but there goes my £500 excess.....

I thought that the settings would be wrong.

Off to France with R20 for the weekend tomorrow, be interesting to see how she handles with a US setup on 18" rims and M030 suspension :)
 
Hey Rob,

Insist you get the insurance company to pay for Chris to set your car up again.
That's what I did and that's what I got. After all you've spent money getting the car to that standard why accept base spec?
