I have sat here a Tial w.g. 3 bar fuel pressure reg, Promax chips and a MBC waiting to go on the car, I have been looking at gauges and just wondered if someone could give me the nod on these two.

You are on the right lines looking at boost and AFR, but I wouldn't buy either of those particular gauges.

The boost gauge goes to 35psi, which you don't need so you are losing resolution for no reason - look for one that has a more appropriate, smaller, range.

The AFR gauge appears to be aimed at cars running E85 and only goes to 11.9:1 - again not the best range, try to find one that will go to at least 11.0:1

The Innovate AFR gauge seems to be the one of choice. It has a very good readout of both an analogue scale and a LED digit readout. I was lucky and picked up a second hand boxed unfitted unit for about £100, which was a steal but you may find one on fleabay. There are some on there now for arounf £160.

I got one of those AFR gauges, they are great, the only thing I have found is that it interferes with the stereo, perhaps I just have a crap stereo!

Is the second afm more suitable then ? I don't like the Innovate gauges, im looking for something that looks in keeping with original dials

Try wrapping the cables for the gauge in tinfoil and connect to a ground.

Maybe they should have used screened cable to start with.

I'd second this, I think they're a great bit of kit - very easy to read.

Sorry, didn't see this post before I replied. Have you looked at all the customisable options for them before dismissing them? If you go for a black surround, black background and choose the right colours for the LEDs (orange perhaps) I think you'll find it'll fit in a treat. I can't imagine analogue gauges can be anywhere near as fast as LEDs either (but I could be wrong)
