Fuel Pressure Regulator

Looks like it would fit the standard fuel rail, custom milled aluminium casing with a standard cartridge style fuel pressure regulator.

I know a lot of cars of this era used similar parts (think there is one Ferrari that uses the exact same aircon compressor as the 944), also many BMW use the same style fuel pressure regulator.

Sold as a Ferrari F40 3.0 bar fuel pressure regulator, not sure they get much demand for those!

That is a splendid looking thing. I'm guessing it is not cheap labelled for an F40.......

I'm sure I nabbed a nearly new one off an E30 325i when I put my Promax chips in. Still working fine, sure I've got a spare somewhere as well. Neither are billet.
 
If I recall correctly, it was the original FPR playing up and over pressurising the fuel rail that caused a non start years ago. Disconnecting an electrical connection from an injector dropped the fuel pressure, and allowed the engine to run on 3 cylinders.
