Fuel Pressure regulator question

Quick question re FPR's, is there any difference b/w a FPR for a normally aspirated 944 and a 944t?

Also, is there any difference b/w a FPR for a 220bhp 944t and a 250bhp 944t?

Thanks in advance..

From memory, the early cars 220bhp have a different fpr to the 250bhp. Only difference is that teh one on a 250 bhp has a threaded connection whilst the 220 bhp has the hose going straight onto barbed connection. IF you are upgrading to a 3 bar fpr then you need to cut off threaded end on 250 bhp anyway.

I have a 3 bar fpr if you need one.

There are about 6 different FPRs for different 944 engines!

What is the engine and FPR combination you're looking at?

I have a 3 bar bosch fpr which you can have for £25 posted. Was bought from promax for about £50. Removed from a 300bhp 944 turbo race car.

I thought they were all 2.5 bar regulators and its was just the maps/injector timing that were different, am I wrong?

Pretty sure they were all 2.5 bar, old BMW models E30 and the like are fitted with 3 bar, so next time you are in a scrapyard, a very well known Porsche Re map Guru, puts them in a vice between 2 sockets and squashes the body slightly hence tensioning the internal spring more,
