Fuel Pressure Gauge for £9.00

thought that this might be useful to anyone that wishes to test their fuel pressure and or out a leak down test to fault find a non start/ rough running problem

I think you'll destroy this gauge testing a 944's fuel pressure as its only rated 15psi, you'll need a gauge upto 40psi for a standard turbo and over 50psi for modified turbo or S2

they do a 100psi guage for about the same price

But as it doesnt come with any female adapters I think you would have trouble fitting it to the male M12x1.5 test port on the fuel rail.

Wait... just realised its designed to be installed by cutting the fuel line so you probbaly wont need that m12 adapter. Although im not sure how well it will work as it would have to be installed before the fuel dampener?

I still think your better off getting an m12 female adapter with a guage on the end and connecting directly to the fuel line.
 
I know those gauges - they are very poor quality. May be ok as a test but they would fall apart in days under a bonnet.

I'm sure your right, infact most guages I've seen on ebay actually say they arent for long term use.
 
They look like the gauges we used to use when building gas reg's, they are not exactly weatherproof.
