Last Xmas/winter I had my driver's side window regulator snap it's (corroded) bowden cable which lead to a DIY replacement job, bit of a pain as it was cold and outside!
Culprit was a car left in the open (as always), wet, then a night freeze. Window tried to drop when I opened the car the following morning, passenger side survived the pulses to the motor to crack the ice.
Keen to avoid a repeat of this.
Have a top cover so that should keep the obvious wet from freezing the glass to the seal, but can i apply something to the seal/glass edge to keep the system free of ice over in the seals?
