front wheel bearing question

hi guys, just a query regarding the front wheel bearing on the 944 ...are they all the same or is it different type for each model(ie 944 lux, 944S, S2, and turbo), reason I ask is that while re-greasing my 944S fr bearing yesterday i notice that the previouse owner had fitted the turbo calipers to the fr and rear of the car so i though maybe he had change the disc and hub as well ....there for when i need to change the bearings I may need a different type than the oem 944S ones .

another query is do the rear bearings not need any maintenance, re-greasing ?

thanks in advance :ROFLMAO:

Not a clue about any differences on the front - I would have a look at the part numbers on one of the online catalogues and see if the part numbers are the same for the different models (I know the early 944s are still the same part number as a VW Beetle).

The rears as far as I am aware are sealed for life (and a pig to change on the car - that I do know! At least they are on an S2).
