fixed my coolant leak but new way to bleed the system?

Ive had a small leak on the plastic elbow fitting off the waterpump since I bought the car

I thought the plastic elbow was probably warped due to over tightening and I bought a new plastic elbow and new seal ,on taking it apart ,the plastic elbow was badly warped causing the leak ,the allenkey bolts were very dodgy and need replacing asap ,but the original seal was completely inadequate ,and I found a much fatter ,tougher rubber seal in my spares box

as far as bleeding the coolant ,I used my compressor and a vacumn brake bleeding gun it sucked all the air out through the bleed thread ,and as soon as I started it coolant came out ,I squeezed the hoses etc but it looks like the vac gun got most of the air in one go ,the guns reservoir was full of coolant , the coolant that was in the car when I bought it was a very weak mixture due to topping up with water and the leak ,now the coolant is very blue [:D]

Blow in the coolant tank with your mouth, then when you finally feel coolant coming out of the bleed bolt with your left fingers, tighten the bolt then stop blowing in the tank.
This will force coolant through the areas where coolant doesn't normally go until the thermostat has opened. This helps saving a lot of time when bleeding an engine.
